Busy is Good

This has been a great week for Tidy Little Hedgehog! Mom and a sister (or two) had a booth at a Kringle Market at a winery. After a slow, and a little bit concerning, start, they finished the day with a bang! Here are some of the bags they sold. Hopefully, we can reproduce at least a few of these! They were some favorites!
Love this Crossbody and Wristlet with Amy Butler Cherry Blossoms fabric.

I have to admit - I'm pretty sad that this one is gone. I wanted it for myself! We will definitely have to make a few more!

This one is a favorite of Mom's. I can't believe she actually sold it. Another fabric that you will probably see more of!

Ahhh and this one. I made this one and I loved it. It didn't even make it's way to Etsy. I can't wait to make a few more of these bags. They are perfect for traveling, the beach, every day, and make fabulous diaper bags! Definitely wish I'd had one a few years ago!

Oh, and this beautiful crossbody sold on Etsy! Amy Butler - always the way to go!

Yay for Publicity!

Today we received our first real piece of publicity. Yeah! (Eekk!) Anne from Columbus Underground wrote a very nice little article about our MinkaPacks for the website, and we couldn't be more thrilled. Check it out here - it's true, it's true!

The MinkaPack

Our most popular and first-launched item is the MinkaPack. These are adorable little backpacks, designed for toddlers and all that goes with being that age. The Mom behind Tidy Little Hedgehog is called Minka, a shortened form of the Czech for Mom, 'Maminka', by her 9 grandsons and 1 granddaughter. With that many kids in the family, we know that every child needs a backpack to carry all of their toys, blankies, and other items to Grandma's house - they need a MinkaPack!

Our MinkaPacks are fully lined, with additional pockets inside for notes for Grandma (or your toddler's teacher) and on the sides for their cup, toothbrush, or favorite toy.

Welcome to Tidy Little Hedgehog. This is our space to discuss, track, and share our journey as we start our own little business. We're a mom and sisters who all have brought something different to this project and who are excited to share our products with others.

Look for pictures, tutorials, and just our own comments, nerves, excitement, and just about everything in between.
